Hey all!  Sorry it has been so long since I posted.  I don't where the  time has gone, but it's Trick~or~Treat time!  I made this Halloween shadow box today and wanted to share it with you!  I have included various scraps of Halloween papers I have used over the years as well as some stickers.  My faves are the K&Co. owl and witch.  I have also included vials my DH brought home from work (recycle) to use in different projects, better than spending the money also.  Hope you enjoy and hope to post more in the next couple weeks.

Have a great week!

Hey all!  For everyone that wanted to know how to make the chevron from my previous LO, here is a link to a video the crafty gals made me do!  Please excuse the background noise and my inability to perform.  I will not be hosting any 30 minute infomercials.  LOL  Hope it works!  And will help you to create great pages.  If not, hit me up and I will be glad to answer any questions that you have!

Hello everyone!  Sorry it has been so long!  I have  been  visiting the Most Magical Place on Earth!  We had a great time.  I have not been to Disney World in 35 years so there was much to see!  The most amazing to me was how Pixar has inspired and advanced the technology at DW.  Epcot was really out of my league but the youngsters loved it.

My favorite park by far had to be Magic Kingdom.  One day though is not enough to do all there is to do.  My first ride of the day was of course Dumbo, the flying elephant.  My favorite.  I did not get to get my pic taken with Snow White, my favorite princess, so I bought a doll replica of her.

I will catch up on my postings this week, so look for more inspirations including a complete LO inspired by a clothing tag that I just had to use.  "Precious Cargo".  Hope you'll stop by later!

Hey all!  Hope you are having a good weekend and enjoying the Just A Scrappin' Blog Hop!  Today I am adding a page from one of the cruises I have taken.  I wanted to share the use of Mrs. Grossman's flip flop stickers mixed into the banner used with the Stampin Up banner punch.  I love that punch.  I can't remember what company the pattern paper is from, but the solids are Bazzil and I embossed some of them using folders and the Big Shot.  I hope you like the use of colors mixed together.   TT4N!

This weeks DT challenge for Just A Scrappin' is "Vacation Time".  I have used blue, white, green, and brown papers from The Paper Studio and some really old DCWV paper pad.  The owl is a Jolee's embellie.  The blue font paper is actually from a package of embellies.  I like to use packaging whenever I can on a page or card.  The chevron I made from a tip I learned on Pinterest.  If you would like to learn how, let me know and I will be glad to share with you!  Super simple and big impact.  Looks great when created with polka dots and flowers.   I absolutely fell in love with Belize while there on vacation.  I hope you will join us this weekend for our blog hop!  You are sure to get lots and lots of ideas and tips for scrapbooking or card making!  Thanks and have a great time blogging!

Hello Thursday!  Wanted to share a banner I made for a cute, sweet, and adorable boy who LOVES hockey.  I made this banner with the Martha Stewart score board, red, black, and white assorted papers and added just enough hockey stickers! Oh, and of course those are the "Carolina Hurricanes" colors!  Hope you like!

Hey all!  I know, I'm a little late, but I wanted to share this 4th of July LO I just completed.  Under the pic of the hamburgers and fries is a folder that if you flip up the pic, journalling is revealed.  I really like adding dimension to my pages.  My scrapbooks are a little bulky, well maybe a lot bulky!  But I love it!  Hope this inspires you to scrap some of your 4th of July pics!  Bye for now!

I wanted to share a new project today!  This is a canvas that I stenciled with the Martha Stewart stencils.  I used a piece of left of wall paper border and fussy cut all the bottles, grapes, and vine out.  Modge Podged that to the canvas and then added wine corks cut in half for dimension.  I hope you all like it.  It is approx. 14 X 20 inches.  I think it turned out really good.  In fact, I really didn't want to give it to the person it was intended for.  But it will look great in her kitchen as it was her wall paper border that it will match!  Have a great rest of the week and thanks for stopping by!

I wanted to add this layout today.  I absolutely am in love with bird cages.  This is a photo of myself and my mother in the background.  I am a vintage fanatic!  It is very hard for me to do bright colored LO's.  But I try.  I hope you all like this LO and are inspired.  The paper is just scraps of what I had laying around.  There are also laser cut flourishes that have been painted black and placed under the prima roses and strings of pearls!  Thanks you for stopping by today!

Hello Ladies!  I am so excited to be a part of Just-A-Scrappin' DT.  And also to share my love of scrapbooking, making cards and altered items with other crafters.  This is my very first post to a blog.  I do much better with paper, glue and pictures than I do technology!  I hope you will like this altered tray I made using a picture of my great grandparents wedding day June 12, 1925.  The use of paper flowers, bling and the silver bells really compliment the Teresa Collins "Carolina Breeze" paper collection that I am absolutely in love with!  Enjoy and can't wait to see all of your projects!
